samsung. we'll have more on that in just a little bit. but why buy apple? >> we still think it's a terrific business. obviously steve jobs was iconic, but nonetheless they have a terrific product development exercise under way under the new ceo tim cook. and they're still growing, still generating profits, are sitting on $137 billion in cash. have about a 2.4% dividend yield today, no debt. so i think they accompanying growth should help the multiple expand to very low 10 times turning to even 12 times along with what is likely to be redistribution of cash to shareholders in the form of a higher dividend or perhaps a share buyback, that should lead to a better share stock price for apple. >> you like pnc. we know a lot of banks are getting popular with investors. why did you pick this one? >> namely because its footprint in the midatlantic and the southeast is i think going to be profitable as we continue to believe we're in the very early innings of a housing recovery, and we're also starting to see increased loan activity which helped to improve their net interest margins. >>

. asian markets lost a bit of momentum in the afternoon session to end the week on a mixed note. samsung electronics, the technology giant finally took the wraps off a much anticipated galaxy s4, but might have failed to impress markets especially after weeks of speculation over its new features. investors took profit on that stock tumbling 2.6% today. the nikkei, however, managed to close above the 12,500 level while many expect the boj now with deflation governor kuroda to roll out aggressive guidelines in the next meeting. sonny closed at an 11-month high after a ratings upgrade. the in china, the shanghai composite gave back some of its early gains over 1% ending higher by a modest 0.4% after no fresh policy catalyst to lift sentiment. banking shares outperformed on bargain hunting and boosted by pudong development banks. the hang seng gave back all of its early gains led by industriales and it's down more than 2% on the week. meanwhile, turning negative as beijing announced more reforms over the sector. taking its queues from wall street, australia's asx 200 had its best daily showi

to join the rally at last? let's get in on the money and find out. now, samsung's new phone was deemed a bit of a dud by many, but could the tech giant finally be starting to share some of its massive cash pile with the rest of the world? dan, let's talk apple here. they ready to give it out? >> well, really interesting. all week long, this stock was kept under wraps because of the samsung event last night. they finally had some of the enthusiasm about products that apple used to have. and in a lot of ways, the phone they introduced yesterday looked like one of their s-verve suns of apple's iphone when they do that second year of the phone. so, i think that helped change the sentiment a little bit towards apple. and then, you had investors looking for this, you know, this cash distribution plan that needs to be expanded. a lot of reason why people are looking for next week is because, if they thought about the pattern from last year, the company held their shareholder meeting on february 23rd. a lot of anticipation they were going to announce a dividend, a buy-back there, they didn't.
